New Deathgasm Releases
Mariett, GA -- June 19, 2006 -- Deathgasm Records unleashes three new releases. Manticore "For Rats and Plague" CD, Cult of Daath "The Grand Torturers of Hell" CD, and Semargl "Satanogenesis" CD are all available now from Deathgasm Records.
Manticore, said to be "too brutal to be called 'Black Metal', too Satanic to be called 'Death Metal'," offer their third recording on CD from Deathgasm Records and LP from Hell's Headbangers. Manticore's newest album "For Rats and Plague" has the raw and heavy production of a great live band. Their song writing conveys feelings of pure hatred and anger. "For Rats and Plague" is pissed off music for pissed off people - a.k.a. - fans of ARCHGOAT, BLASPHEMY, PROFANATICA, REVENGE, old BEHERIT, BLACK WITCHERY, CONQUEROR, etc.
When Akron, Ohio's Manticore unleashed their first recording in 2000, it was obvious that they would become a prominent American black/death metal band. In 2002, Manticore joined Black Witchery (usa) and Avenger (cz) for a European tour.

Cult of Daath are the essence of old school black metal. Their music is a backlash against the modern monotonous and mindlessly fast black metal. One could sum up their sound as "black thrash metal with punk influences."
Deathgasm Records along with Battle Kommand Records deliver this classic re-release of Cult of Daath's "The Grand Torturers of Hell." The cult album was originally released by Warhammer Records in 2001 and is long since out of print. The new version contains new graphics, the original recording, plus a bonus track.

The Ukrainian horde, Semargl, discharge their second volume of Satanic artillery entitled "Satanogenesis." The album contains 13 tracks of unholy black metal in the vein of Satyricon, Dimmu Borgir, and Burzum. The sinister and haunting melodies, evil atmosphere, and clever artistry in musical composition will make this album one of the best releases of 2006.
"Satanogenesis" has clear and crisp yet heavy and pummeling production. The album was recorded at Studio Hertz in Poland (Decapitated, Vader, Hell-Born, etc...). "Satanogenesis" is the follow up recording to the 2005 release "Attack on God" which was also released on Deathgasm Records.
