BRUCE DICKINSON Is Putting Finishing Touches On Vocals For His Next Solo Album

Bruce Dickinson is putting finishing touches on vocals for his next solo album, planned for release in 2027.

Bruce Dickinson, the lead singer of Iron Maiden, is currently completing the vocal recordings for his forthcoming solo album at Studio 606, owned by Dave Grohl in Northridge, California. This next album follows The Mandrake Project, which was released earlier in 2024.

According to hard rock vocalist Jeff Scott Soto, who recently visited the studio, Dickinson is performing impressively, and the new songs show strong potential. The album is expected to have a different feel due to being recorded live, contrasting with The Mandrake Project's more piecemeal recording approach.

In various interviews, Dickinson revealed that the new album will feature between nine and eleven tracks selected from eighteen demos, with a mix of heavy and acoustic elements that reflect the demands of each song. The lineup includes long-time collaborators such as keyboardist Mistheria, drummer Dave Moreno, and new touring members, with plans to tour in 2027 following the album's release.

Earlier in 2025, Dickinson released More Balls To Picasso, a reworked version of his 1994 solo album. He continues to balance his solo work alongside his role in Iron Maiden, having rejoined the band in 1999 after a solo career that began following his initial departure in 1993.
