Siriun: New Album, New Video

Brazil’s Siriun have released a video for the track ‘Transmutation’ Siriun taken from their self-released album ‘In Chaos We Trust’.

The album was produced by Siriun mastermind and guitarist/vocalist Alexandre Castellan, who worked on the album with Kevin Talley (Suffocation, Six Feet Under, Daath), and his long-time friend Hugo Machado on bass guitar. The band now have a new line-up which consists of Castellan (guitar/vocals), Elvis Damigo(guitar), Ricardo Amorim(bass) and Braulio Drumond(drums).

The video for ‘Transmutation’ was illustrated and animated by Niklas Sundin (otherwise known as the guitarist for Swedish melodic death metal group Dark Tranquillity).

Explaining the concept behind the video, Castellan said:

“The video is about the alchemical concept of turning lead into gold. That concept can also be an analogy for a search for internal perfection and spiritual enlightenment.”
