LORD DYING Announce Full US Tour

Oddball doombringers LORD DYING hail from Portland, Oregon, a shadowy, pine-scented place teeming with purveyors of the heavy riff. In a time where everyone is trying to out-sludge or out-doom each other, Lord Dying gives something less than a fuck. Comprised of past and current members of BLACK ELK, PORTALS, LE FORCE, and CREMAINS,and cobbled together from an unholy melange of low-slung, filthy grooves, tortured doom, thrashy menace, and whiskeyfied attitude, LORD DYING have already shared stages with the likes of UNSANE, RED FANG, YOB, VALIENT THORR, and more. They have also braved the west coast twice, the first time alone, with crazy prog-shredmeisters DANAVA and heavy lust-lifers LECHEROUS GAZE, followed a few months later by another co-headlining tour with local heavy punishers NETHER REGIONS. Shortly after, LORD DYING solidified their first monumental release, a self-titled 7” on Powerblaster Records, and started blowing minds all across the board.




The Willamette Weekly gushed, “LORD DYING is the best new metal band in Portland. It’s all too rare for local bands in this scene to come out of the gate swinging this hard. Think Orange Goblin covering Slayer tunes and you are scratching the surface of just how profoundly LORD DYING rocks. Simply put, Lord Dying are here to pummel with heavy riffs and blow eardrums, from sea to shining sea. They'll be flying solo for the first leg, rolling with BLACK COBRA and GAZA for a few dates, then meeting up with hometown homies WITCH MOUNTAIN for the second wind.
