ADDITIONAL FREE TICKETS TO THIS YEAR'S GROUNDBREAKING OZZFEST TO BE RELEASED

The first few dates of this year's groundbreaking OZZFEST have been an amazing success--and tour promoters Live Nation announced today that after seeing the production in place, they've found that they can make additional tickets available for the 21 remaining dates. This enables fans a second chance to secure free tickets to see the summer's premiere touring festival. Tickets were initially available via LiveNation.com between June 8 and June 12 when over 428,000 tickets were given away at no charge to this year's OZZFEST, dubbed "FreeFest." The newly released tickets will be available at FYE stores & venue box offices until they have all been claimed. Since 1996, OZZFEST has been a virtual breeding ground for rising bands. The festival has been instrumental in igniting the careers of platinum-selling artists like System of a Down, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Incubus, Slipknot, Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, Mudvayne, Lamb of God, Killswitch Engage and Lacuna Coil, among others. It was cited as "one of rock's biggest juggernauts" in the cover feature of Sunday's New York Times' "Arts and Leisure" section (6/25/06). This year marks the 12th anniversary of the hard rock spectacular.

The 24-city earth-pounding 12th annual OZZFEST kicked off July 12 in Seattle, WA at the White River Amphitheatre. The Seattle Times wrote in their review "The music on the two stages at Ozzfest…is the kind that makes you feel like your insides are vibrating. But in a good way" (7/13/07).
