Ion Dissonance Announce New Album and Tour Dates

Montreal-based quintet Ion Dissonance are getting ready to record their 3rd album and follow-up to the Abacus Release "Solace" that left reviewers raving in 2005.The band will be recording with Zeus at Planet Z Studios (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall) for 3 weeks starting February 1st. This new album is sure to be one of the most volatile records of the year from a band who outplays their contemporaries with ease. The album title and other details will be released soon.

The band had this to say about the album: "The album is really heavy and it's some of the best stuff we've ever written!! We're really confident that Zeuss will be able to represent the band's personality and the sound we always searched for. It should be released early summer."

Ion Dissonance just finished a highly successful tour with Necrophagist and Skinless on the East Coast and are about to embark on a few dates in Southern Ontario where they will be road testing their new material.
