A New Beginning for SUMMON

Necromodeus from a newly reformed Summon has sent us the following update:

"How's it going? I just wanted to tell you a little about what's going on in the SUMMON Camp. As you know, SUMMON dismembered a few years ago. Necromodeus went to Nocturnal Fear and in past has played with MASOCHIST, WINDS OF THE BLACK MOUNTAINS, WACO JESUS, and CEMETERY DESEKRATOR, Xaphan went to WASTLANDER, DARK PSHYCOSIS, Ed Ryan Went to FLESH FOR THE BEAST, formerly SADO-MASOCHISM, and Joshua Moore, plays in 6 PRONG PAW, DISSIDENT and, BLUE TONGUE VIRUS and others I think. Sorry if I spelled your band names wrong.
NECROMODEUS is reforming SUMMON with Ed Ryan they are taking auditions for drummers and a guitar players. (Which I think they have found both but are still taking auditions to get the best line-up.

"Well as you know SUMMON was formed in the early 90's. And have recorded a few albums and have toured the world! Well things have changed Necromodeus has started all over to search for once we once had a great line-up.

"In the past if you didn't know Necro was killed in a car accident in 96. He was brought back to live after being dead for 7 1/2 minutes. Studies say, after two minutes with no air you should be legally brain dead. And if this is the case, he is doing very well. Necro has had many injuries from child hood playing, to accidents, hard labor jobs, playing in head banging bands, oh and don't forget Alcohol induced violence, and other life experiences of what life brings. So its kind of funny "TCHORT" Rip. Jeff Elrod from MASOCHIST gave him his name "NECROMODEUS". In 2000 Necro had a fall injury that broke his neck, and never got it fixed until 2004 after touring with EXCOMUNION and THORNSPAWN. But the operation might not have to be done until Necro and band mate Joshua Moore, got into a little tussle. BEER and feelings don't make a good topic. Kind of like alcohol and religion. Necro had a fusion put in his neck at 4, 5, 6 and a cadaver bone at 5. In 2003 Necro had surgery on his shoulder, and still having neck and back problems he had infusions, and was supposed to get a Razotomy for the pain. These are some pretty major thing that have happened to him, but its not including 11 broken ankles, broken fingers, nose, too many stitches to count, broken wrist, tendon-ictus, and carpal tunnel, and now is dealing with a very bad strain of arthritis. Necro works construction and plays very hard! In December 2009 Necro started doing Physical therapy again, for his pain. Until February 2010 he still had 4 percent use of his left elbow. And still lots of inflammation and pain. After almost 4 months of hard core PT he's doing amazing. For the first time in his life he can see what he is looking at, or hear what he is listening to. I think his exact words were Two weeks ago was the first time I have ever felt this way! Like wow I can't believe what I have done, and didn't even stop to appreciate it. My life starts now!! So he is starting to learn everything all over, not that he doesn't know how, but to re learn the right way! So he started with his kids and if you know kids, they never seem to amaze you, they grow everyday, and second with his relationships, and now it's what he always loved to do MUSIC!!! So He started playing everyday for hours and hours and jamming with people, and reading books to learn why I am playing this, and why it makes this sound, So Necro has contacted a a few people to let them know what is going on. And it's all positive! Necro and the SERPENT KING have talked about doing a European tour with SUMMON and GOD DETHRONED after they return from their USA Tour with OVERKILL, VADER, and WARBRINGER. Necromodeus has came back from the dead again, and is writing the new SUMMON album Which will be titled "A NEW BEGINNING" and if you have heard of any of the bands he has played with, you probably can imagine what it will sound like- BRUTAL!! Necro is taking auditions for drums right now! And He thinks he has found another guitar player to add o the mix. So we will see if they become permanent members or session members for albums or tours. If you ever toured before, some people are cool to hang out with, but if you live together it's different. And on the road you are just a big family, but sometimes families suck, so hopefully the new guys can be apart of the SUMMON family.
