SINCE THE FLOOD confirms tour with Madball

By jason

New England hardcore powerhouse Since the Flood just released their newest full length, No Compromise, on Metal Blade Records. Since the Flood, who excels at raw, bare-knuckled hardcore with metallic toned guitars, Schwartzenegger sized vocals and full velocity assault drumming. Among the band's admirers are Howard J ones from Killswitch Engage who asked to manage the group soon after their inception, and Trevor Phipps from Unearth who released the band's debut album, Valor & Vengeance on Ironclad Recordings in 2003. No Compromise is already a hit, with coverage planned in a wealth of national music pubs including Alternative Press , AMP, Revolver, Decibel, and Outburn. The online media followed suit, with coverage on For the Sound.com, MTV.com, and popular review site About.com, who calls No Compromise, "a nonstop assault of savage riffs, pummeling drums and world class breakdowns …The secret is to always leave them wanting more, and Since The Flood has succeeded." Popular heavy music webzine The Punksite.com calls them "one of Metal Blade's finest." Additional coverage is planned on Decoy Music.com, Punk News.org, and Absolute Punk.net. Since the Flood also recently confirmed an east coast run with hardcore legends Madball and up-and-comers Death Before Dishonor.

Formed in 2002 in Nashua, NH and on the North Shore, Since the Flood, composed of Chuck Bouley (vocals), Luke Buckbee (drums), Dave Stauble (guitars), Rob Deangelis (bass) and Dan Haggerty (guitar), is from the same surrounding area that Unearth, Shadows Fall and All That Remains hail from. They have already made a dent in the scene through their brutal live show and intense instrumental assault, recently finishing up their first tour in over a year with Shai Hulud and 100 Demons. Their last one being a European run with Madball and Sworn Enemy, and they have shared stages on the road with such groups as All That Remains, Twelve Tribes, Full Blown Chaos and Bury Your Dead. Much more is planned for the band in the next few months; including an upcoming full US March tour, so keep checking www.metalblade.com for news and updates.
