Iotunn, a progressive metal band from Denmark and the Faroe Islands, delivered a memorable performance at Copenhell 2023, accented by specially designed laser visuals that enhanced the show's atmosphere. The concert featured some of the band's most powerful and emotive tracks, creating a unique experience for attendees under the night sky.
The band has now made this event available through their live album Waves Over Copenhell, released on January 9. This recording showcases the energy and ambiance of the festival performance, aiming to bring listeners into the immersive live experience.
A new video for the track "Mistland" has also been released to highlight the album. The live recording was mixed by drummer Bjørn Wind Andersen and mastered by Jacob Hansen, known for his work with other notable metal acts. The album is offered digitally and on two limited edition vinyl variants: black and red-black merged, both limited to 333 copies.
Waves Over Copenhell includes five tracks: "Waves Below," "The Tower Of Cosmic Nihility," "Access All Worlds," "Mistland," and "Voyage Of The Garganey I." Fans can order the album through Metal Blade Records' website.
