AGE OF SILENCE, who is currently in the studio following up their well-received 2004 album Acceleration, provides an update on current member activities.

"The band is still working (albeit slowly) on the next album, but the members have been somewhat sidetracked by other activities as of late:

Lazare:
Just completed recording of the Borknagar acoustic album.

Hellhammer:
Busy as always, preparing to enter studio with Dimmu Borgir in October and then Mayhem thereafter, followed by Thorns in the new year.

Andy Winter:
Completing the production of the new Winds album together with Carl August Tidemann. The album is reported to be very close to completion now.

Eikind:
Spending the rest of the year touring Finland and the Baltic countries with his other band Before The Dawn. They are opening for Moonspell on the Finish dates of their tour.

Kobbergaard:
Currently in hiatus! Last observed somewhere in south-east Asia, possibly Thailand'

Extant:
Spent a few weeks this summer visiting Andy, partying in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, and working on some new material for the upcoming album."
