The album was produced and arranged by Pupi and Madiraca, recorded primarily at Studio Pupi, with drums recorded in other studios.
'Warhorse' features a mix of original compositions primarily by Madiraca and Pupi, alongside a few cover songs. The project began in late 2021 when Paul and Hrvoje Madiraca teamed up in Zagreb, Croatia, forming the band and quickly moving into songwriting and recording sessions.
