Canadian technical thrash act THINE EYES BLEED are just two shows into the 6-week onslaught of the mammoth The UNHOLY ALLIANCE TOUR (Slayer, Lamb of God, Mastodon and Children of Bodom) and already they're feeling very confident up onstage in front of the large concert audience.

Singer Justin Wolfe checks in from the road: "We kicked things off in Columbus three nights ago on a warm-up date with Lamb of God and Children of Bodom. Jumping into the fire the first show turned out to be bigger than anything we have done in the past as the place was packed and the crowd was ready to kill. I'm thinking, ‘Shit! This is the warm-up?' The show turned out to be killer and the other bands were all cool as hell from the get go. It was a great night to prepare for what was coming. We drank way too much and smoked until we could barely stand, so things were looking good."

"Next came the first Unholy Alliance date in Camden, NJ. Things were hectic as expected, but we pulled it all together, hit the stage and let it rip. The crowd response was awesome so we were feeling pretty damn good! It's always nice to get the first show out of the way, especially when your opening for Slayer, it's your first arena tour and you're so nervous you could shit your pants."

"Last night we hit up Continental Airlines Arena home of the New Jersey Devils! Things were yet again hectic up until we hit the stage but damn did shit ever sound great!! We played a solid set and the fans were fucking awesome. After loading up our gear and having some drinks I went and had my ass kicked by Mastodon and that was just the beginning of it all!! Slayer came out to crush everyone to close the evening. By last night all the bands were sounding amazing and you could see the tour really starting to take shape. Afterwards many drinks and laughs were shared. We have been meeting lots of new people on this tour and things couldn't be better!"
