Jim Messina Extends Fall Tour: A Legendary Journey Continues

In a move that reaffirms his status as a living legend, Jim Messina has announced an extension of his fall tour, now rolling through late November. The storied singer-songwriter will grace stages across the U.S. with a series of dates culminating on November 20, offering fans a chance to witness the magic of his five-decade-spanning career. The journey kicks off in Franklin, TN on October 22, before hitting notable stops in Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York.

Messina, a name synonymous with rock history, first etched his imprint in the annals of music as both the producer and bassist for the venerable Buffalo Springfield. However, it was his partnership with Richie Furay in Poco that truly defined his legacy, elevating the country rock genre to new heights with their pioneering sound. After three transformative albums, he forged a new path as a producer, which serendipitously led him to the unknown talent of Kenny Loggins.

The duo of Loggins & Messina would go on to forge a musical legacy that sold over 16 million albums, churning out timeless hits that still resonate today. Tracks like “Watching The River Run” and “Danny’s Song” have become staples in the fabric of American music, a testament to their songwriting prowess and harmonious collaboration.

These days, the road warrior performs with The Road Runners, a band of seasoned musicians who collectively bring new life to his classic tracks. Their recent live album, Here, There and Everywhere, released in 2025, showcases the electric energy and chemistry they possess, capturing the essence of a live Messina experience. Fans can listen to this auditory treasure on their favorite digital platforms.

As the tour rolls on, prepare for an unforgettable evening filled with nostalgia, electric performances, and the kind of music that stands the test of time. For those eager to catch this legend in action, tickets are available on Jim Messina’s official website.
