The rock titans return, blending modernity with their classic sound as they gear up for their highly anticipated new album.

On the evening of September 21, the Grammy-winning powerhouse GRETA VAN FLEET stormed the stage on ABC's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' with a fiery rendition of their latest single, 'Saw You Stand'. This track is a taste of what’s to come from their forthcoming album, 'Palace For The People', set to drop on October 9 via Republic Records. The performance was a testament to the band's relentless energy and passion, offering fans a sneak peek into a record that promises to redefine their already formidable legacy.

'Palace For The People' sees GRETA VAN FLEET delving into the deeper themes of humanity, connection, and resilience — all while maintaining a sound that feels both intimate and universally profound. Lead guitarist Jake Kiszka stated, 'As much as it is a GRETA VAN FLEET record and a rock and roll record at its core, in its heart, it's a very modern record.' This fusion is what sets the band apart, continuously evolving yet remaining true to their roots.

Recorded in the heart of Tennessee during the spring of 2026, 'Palace For The People' was co-produced by the band alongside Mike Elizondo, known for his work with TURNSTILE and Eminem. The result? An album that showcases a band more cohesive and vibrant than ever before. 'We love each other just as much as ever, if not more,' said frontman Josh Kiszka. 'We've grown closer, and we have more to say and share than ever.'

The title of the album was inspired by GRETA VAN FLEET’s sold-out 2022 world tour, leading them to ponder what a 'palace for the people' means today. Their inspiration springs from the grandeur of London's Alexandra Palace, originally built as a refuge for the public rather than the elite. Bassist Sam Kiszka reflects, 'The music is our palace!' This sentiment encapsulates the essence of their work — a gathering place for fans to unite through the power of rock.

With a track listing that includes titles like 'Into The Beginning' and 'Dreams You Hold', the album is poised to deliver an emotional rollercoaster that fans have come to expect from GRETA VAN FLEET. Their rise from the humble beginnings of Frankenmuth, Michigan, to becoming one of rock's defining voices is nothing short of legendary. They’ve embraced the mantle of rock stardom, continually pushing boundaries while resonating with audiences, old and new alike.

As they prepare to unleash 'Palace For The People', GRETA VAN FLEET is not just making music; they’re creating an experience that reconnects people to the raw, unfiltered power of rock and roll. Their most recent album, 2023's 'Starcatcher', was merely a stepping stone towards this monumental release. Fans can expect more than just songs; they are about to embark on a journey that champions the very spirit of rock.
