BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE Set to Unleash Eighth Album in January 2027

In a recent interview with Drum Dog at The Europe Drum Show, Jason Bowld, the powerhouse drummer of Welsh metallers BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, revealed exciting details about the band's upcoming eighth album. Bowld disclosed that he has just wrapped up recording the drums and expects the entire project to be completed by June 2026. With a strategic release planned for January 2027, the band aims to build anticipation by releasing five singles leading up to the album drop, ensuring that once the promotional machine kicks into gear, they're fully committed for a lengthy 14 to 18 months of touring.

Last December, frontman Matt Tuck shared insights on the album's musical direction during an interview with Rolling Stone Brasil, describing it as a blend of their previous works, particularly the last album from 2021, 'Bullet For My Valentine', alongside the iconic 'Fever' from 2010 and their groundbreaking debut 'The Poison' from 2005. Tuck emphasized that the writing process felt organic, leading to a sound that is bound to resonate with both loyal fans and newcomers alike, hinting that this could be their most definitive record to date.

At the 2025 Download Festival, guitarist Michael 'Padge' Paget added to the hype, disclosing that the new album will delve into heavier territories with innovative tunings they haven't explored before. He mentioned experimenting with drop G tuning, promising a fresh experience for fans while retaining the quintessential BULLET characteristics—catchy hooks, soaring vocal melodies, and colossal choruses. The band is determined to break new ground and refuses to repeat their past successes, pushing the envelope while remaining grounded in their signature sound.
