Alien Ant Farm Release "Reasons" via Judge & Jury Records
Alien Ant Farm Marks New Chapter with Single "Reasons"; 25th Anniversary ANThology Vinyl Announced
Alien Ant Farm has officially returned with their latest single, "Reasons," released via Judge & Jury Records. The track serves as a precursor to the band’s highly anticipated new studio album, which is slated to drop this fall.
After more than two decades in the industry, the Southern California mainstays are leaning into a fresh creative era. This latest release is the result of a powerhouse collaboration with the production team at Judge & Jury, which includes industry heavyweights Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Papa Roach), Neil Sanderson (Three Days Grace), Mike Plotnikoff (Van Halen), and Joe Rickard (In Flames).
A Southern California Connection
The track "Reasons" carries a unique pedigree, having been penned by Rome Ramirez (formerly of Sublime with Rome) and Andreas Ramirez. Given that both Alien Ant Farm and Sublime with Rome shared the same management team for years, the collaboration felt like a natural evolution. When the opportunity to record the track arose, the band jumped at the chance to infuse the song with their signature edgy, alt-rock energy.
Frontman Dryden Mitchell expressed a deep personal connection to the song’s lyrical themes:
"'Reasons' resonates with me because I love the notion that some people, if granted the opportunity of a second chance, actually make the change in themselves to be present and reliable to someone," Mitchell shared. "This song is tight, concise, and an anthem to all who have wanted to actually make that change for the better."
Mitchell added that the recording process was a career highlight, noting that the song ultimately centers on "redemption and making your wrongs right" following past mistakes.
Celebrating 25 Years of ANThology
While the band looks toward the future with new music, they are also honoring their massive legacy. Alien Ant Farm has confirmed a special 25th-anniversary vinyl edition of their breakthrough triple-platinum album, ANThology. The commemorative release is scheduled to arrive in 2026, giving fans a definitive way to celebrate the record that catapulted them to global stardom.
