SEVENDUST premiered their latest single "Is This The Real You?" shortly after announcing their upcoming fifteenth studio album titled "One." The track reflects the band's distinct style that has consistently propelled them in the rock music scene.
The group, consisting of Lajon Witherspoon, Clint Lowery, John Connolly, Vince Hornsby, and Morgan Rose, presents an emotionally charged and authentic song combining melodic elements with intensity. Connolly described the track as a pure representation of SEVENDUST's sound in 2026.
Accompanying the single is an animated music video directed by Paul Ribera, which follows a narrative of a character influencing others, exploring themes of self-confrontation and identity as posed by the song's chorus. The visual storytelling enhances the song's impact with dramatic shifts leading to a dark conclusion.
The album "One" was produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette at Studio Barbarosa and continues to evolve the band's sound, offering a mix of powerful riffs and atmospheric elements. Writing sessions took place at Witherspoon's farmhouse, emphasizing a personal approach to the creative process.
SEVENDUST is set to embark on a U.S. tour starting April 16, 2026, featuring supporting acts such as Atreyu and Fire From The Gods, in addition to special appearances opening for Alter Bridge. They will also perform at major festivals including Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple as part of their ongoing promotion of the new release.
