Moonspell to Unleash 'God Is A Vampire' Tour in 2027: A 35-Year Journey into Darkness

In a thunderous declaration that echoes through the catacombs of heavy metal, Portuguese dark metal icons Moonspell are set to embark on their most ambitious headline tour yet: the 'God Is A Vampire Tour', marking a monumental 35 years of their shadowy saga. This celebrated journey follows the release of their critically acclaimed album, 'Far From God', which has resonated with fans and critics alike, solidifying their status as titans of the genre.

The tour promises to traverse the vast expanse of Europe, from the industrial heart of Germany to the sun-drenched streets of Spain, and even down to the mystical shores of Greece. No stone will be left unturned as the band reaches out to their legion of followers, hitting cities previously untouched on their tours. This is not just another set of gigs; it’s a unifying pilgrimage for metalheads across the continent.

Prepare for a sensory onslaught as Moonspell unveils an exclusive stage design that will elevate their dark artistry to new heights. Powerful lighting, immersive visuals, and a commanding sound will breathe life into the gothic atmosphere of 'Far From God'. This tour is not merely a celebration of their past; it’s a bold declaration of their relentless drive to push boundaries and create a lasting legacy.

Joining them on this tour are two carefully selected support acts that embody the essence of heavy music. Denmark's Iotunn, a rising force in progressive metal, and Spain's atmospheric doom outfit Todomal, will add a unique flavor to the lineup, ensuring that every night is a distinct experience. Kicking off in March 2027, this trio of powerful bands will ignite stages and forge unforgettable memories.

Frontman Fernando Ribeiro’s words resonate with a sense of purpose: “Far From God has been seen, felt and welcomed by both fans and band with an almost messianic fervour. This album showed us wolves – and our pack – the way forward.” As Moonspell prepares to unleash their dark, melodic energy across Europe, fans can expect an unmissable gathering of the metal community, where every show becomes a new memory etched in the annals of metal history.
