New Latin owned label to feature Hardcore and Metal Bands

Metal albums to be released through rappers Sen Dog of Cyprus Hill and Mellow Man Ace's new label.

Sen Dog of Cypress Hill and Mellow Man Ace have formed a new label called Latin Thug Records. In addition to their own album "Ghetto Therapy" the label will also feature Asesino, a Spanish metal group led by Dino Cazares--Fear Factory's former axe grinder--and Tony Campos of Static-X.

The green-lunged Sen Dog will display his own HardCore band, SX-10, along with another HardCore band, N.M.E. from South L.A.

Latin Thug Records teams up with Seattle-based Hawino Records, and will be distributed by Lightyear / WEA. The label plans to release urband-oriented hip-hop and rock albums.

"Ghetto Therapy," the label's first release will hit shelves in February.
