Finland's Finntroll To Tour North America

Finland's purveyors of "the most original and innovative form of extreme music" (Snaggle Tooth), FINNTROLL, are preparing to bring their unique "humppa" metal to North America's northeastern coast. "Birthing a brilliant phenomenon" (The Daily World), FINNTROLL blend pagan black metal with traditional Finnish humppa (polka) to create "mug-hoisting choruses for drunken golem-chasers" (The Glass Eye). Anticipating the band's American invasion, guitarist Routa sent out the following message, "Hailz Metalheads, in January the notorious trollhorde FINNTROLL will finally land their dirty feet on the shores of the new continent. We're invading 6 venues in 6 days with our headcount of 6, so all the signs are more than good! We've joined our forces with those of SODOM, old-timers of the metal scene, and one thing is certain, they're gonna kick ass on stage. Too bad we can't tour across the continent, but there will be another time, and then we'll come all the way out west...or at least we'll hope so.
