Black Veil Brides will hit the road in support of We Stitch These Wounds, headlining the Hot Topic Presents: The Sacred Ceremony Tour, along with Vampires Everywhere!, Modern Day Escape, and Get Scared. The six-week trek is set to kick off in San Diego on July 2nd.
I can't tell guys from girls anymore in todays metal
This is getting fucking insane. I can't tell who are the guys and who are the girls in a lot of metal bands anymore. I call this the 'Sanaz Effect'
This is getting fucking insane. I move that we call the new phenom of not being able to tell if it is a dude or a girl 'The Sanaz Effect' who's with me? I just got a press release regarding the band BLACK VEIL BRIDES, a band I hadn't heard of until last week. Apparently they are going out on tour with VAMPIRES EVERYWHERE and have a new release hitting stores on July 20th. Anyways, as I read the press release, it became clear there were two girls in the band...news to me. I glanced at the picture and thought 'they all wear makeup, could be any of them'. I looked closer...and I don't see two girls. I grabbed a couple more higher quality images of the band along with the bands bio. The bands bio clearly states the band's members are
Chris Hollywood - fairly sure a dude
Sandra A - definitely a girl
Pan - I think a dude
Ashley Purdy - 99% a girl
Andy - I dated an Andy in middle school, and she was 100% girl, but not so sure about this Andy
As I read the bands bio further, I find out Ashley is a dude and Sandra is the lone girl in the group. I realize this is just the glam movement 30 years later, but I could atleast tell the difference when I was seven that it was guys in the band.
