Clear Channel Bosses Pay Up After Great White Club Fire

By jason

The survivors of a fire that left 99 rock fans dead have been given another huge cash boost by bosses of media giant Clear Channel Broadcasting.

Company executives have agreed to pay $22 million to those who witnessed the ill-fated Great White show at Rhode Island nightclub the Station in February 2003.

The survivors and victims' relatives sued the company, which promoted the Great White concert through its radio stations, after the blaze, which was sparked by an ill-advised pyrotechnics display.
