Over fifteen years and seven full-lengths, Cradle of Filth have established themselves as a landmark in the heavy metal world. Reaching Grammy nomination status and selling over 140,000 records (in the US) with their last release, Nymphetamine, the godfathers of Black Metal have maintained a perpetually brooding soundscape. Over the years, their symphonic waves have grown large enough to soak even the most casual listener, yet Cradle of Filth continue to sway even the most hardcore of metal fans righteously devoted to the genre.

While it is almost impossible for a metal band to have much crossover success without jeopardizing their integrity, Cradle of Filth show no signs of selling themselves short with their latest release, Thornography (Roadrunner Records; October 17) - another metal classic in the making.
