American head charge drummer departs
AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE drummer Chris Emery has officially left the band. In a posting on the group's forum, Emery wrote, "The night before the [band's Feb. 11 hometown] show [in Minneapolis], I quit AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE. Why? I choose to. I'm tired of watching drugs and alcohol destroy everyone around me, including myself. I choose to live with more options. The party is over for me. See you on the other side. If you want to come with, I'll be cheering you on."
AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE recently held auditions to replace bassist Chad Hanks after he switched to guitar to replace the recently departed Karma Cheema (Karma has since joined the California-based band OTEP).
