Municipal Waste: Announce SXSW gig, One week away from New York City show
Hot off a batch of fresh shows with some gnarly crowd surfing, literally, Municipal Waste are now happy to announce they will be appearing at this year's South By Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas on March 18th.
The South By Southwest Music and Media Conference showcases hundreds of musical acts from around the globe on over fifty stages in downtown Austin. By day, conference registrants do business in the SXSW Trade Show in the Austin Convention Center and partake of a full agenda of informative, provocative panel discussions featuring hundreds of speakers of international stature. The 20th Anniversary of the SXSW Music And Media Conference and Festival will take place March 15 - 19, 2006. SXSW, In its twentieth year, will take place March 15 - 19, 2006. Municipal Waste will be appearing courtesy of our good friends at Relapse records as they have gracious enough to give the band a spot on their showcase at SXSW. The 'Waste will be sharing the stage with Relapse artist's Cephalic Carnage, Zombi, Facedowninshit and Rumplestiltskin Grinder. Be sure to catch Richmond's finest in action at this year's festival. Relapse's showcase will be taking place at Room 710 on Red River Street in downtown Austin. The show starts at 8pm and be sure to be get there early to ensure you participate in all the mayhem.
For those of you in the tristate area, don't forget that Municipal Waste is playing a doubleheader on January 28th in New York. First, the band will rock your afternoon with a 3pm show at NYC's ABC No Rio with Caustic Christ. Following that gig, Municipal Waste will be motoring it over to North Six in Brooklyn for an 8pm show with Caustic Christ, Death Cycle, and JDA. If you feel like a marathon monster, come out and check out both shows! It'll be one hell of an awesome time.
