Full Lineup For Gothenburg's SCORCHED TUNDRA Festival Unveiled
The full lineup for the second annual Scorched Tundra Festival, set to take place Friday December 28th at Sticky Fingers in Gothenburg Sweden, is now confirmed and is as follows:

ZOMBIEKRIG’s sophomore album Den Vänstra Stigens Ljus – recorded at Broken Name Studios in San Francisco - was released in May 2012 by GMR Music in Sweden. The band will also play material from its debut album Undantagstillstånd and will be joined on stage by lead guitarist and founding member El Guapo for the first time in over two years.
SWITCH OPENS most second album Joint Clash was released on Transubstans Records in March 2012, receiving brilliant reviews and recognition for the band’s ability to walk the line between metal and progressive rock. The band’s previous, self titled, album received equally raving reviews in Europe, USA and Canada ultimately winning a P3 Guld, an award from Swedish national radio, for Best Rock/Metal 2010. SWITCH OPENS will play Scorched Tundra on the back of its successful Scandinavian tour with AGE OF WOE.
Scorched Tundra will mark the first show for NO HAWAII since the group disbanded in winter 2011. The bands landmark debut album Snake My Charms was released in 2010 by Parallel Music/Sound Pollution. "Just as the Phoenix rose from the ashes NO HAWAII will resurrect on December 28th at Scorched Tundra 2012. The band - now being a 3-piece - is exploring the vast space between ambient electronica, Doom and progressive rock. The band’s set will be something really special and will consist of songs from SNAKE MY CHARMS that we have never played live and a lot of new material. To do this we have invited some of the finest musicians in the city to accompany us on this maiden voyage." stated the band about its upcoming performance at Scorched Tundra.
Swedish tech metal supergroup NONEXIST features former ARCH ENEMY and current HEARSE vocalist Johan Liiva and ANDROMEDA/SKYFIRE guitarist Johan Reinholdz. Their new full-length record entitled From My Cold Dead Hands was recorded at Multipass Studios and features 9 blistering new tracks. From My Cold Dead Hands is accompanied by cover songs that Pivotal Rockordings has released for free on YouTube. NONEXIST’s debut full-length record Deus Deceptor was released in 2002 via Century Media/New Hawen Records and the lineup at the time included Johan Liiva, Johan Reinholdz, and DEFLESHED/DARK FUNERAL drummer Matte Modin. Deus Deceptor was produced by Tommy Tägtgren and Johan Reinholdz at Abyss Studios and featured a musical direction described as a cross between early ARCH ENEMY and CARCASS (circa Heartwork).
