Corey Taylor of SLIPKNOT to play with cover band on New Year's Eve

Corey Taylor, best known for fronting STONE SOUR and SLIPKNOT, is putting on a show with his cover band D*M* at the House of Bricks in Des Moines, Iowa. Taylor and friends will headline two shows, an all-ages show at 4 P.M. show with FACECAGE and ONLY, and a mature show at 10:30 with DEUCE, a Kiss cover band and KNUCLEBONE.

Speaking to The Des Moines Register in 2003 prior to ringing in the new year with D*M F*X, Taylor said, "It's a cover thing, all about fun. Seventies punk and '80s hair metal. Just good songs, just have-fun songs with attitude."
