By admin

The German magazine Visions is reporting that the projected release date of the new SYSTEM OF A DOWN album has been pushed back to January 16, 2005. The as-yet-untitled set will be the follow-up to 2001's "Toxicity", which bowed at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 and has sold 3.3 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Rick Rubin is producing the new effort for his American Recordings label, with Jonny Polonsky engineering.
