Desperation!

I've been to the valley of the shadow of death,

I've seen the end of worlds

Travelling through an endless desert

Cursed by a chemical thirst

My thirst, an inner turmoil

A deep wound with no end in sight.

I am the wraith! Dead on the inside

Ill take whats mine!

I cannot take this anymore!

No respite from the chaos in my head

My body screams for that chemical remedy

Desperate times call for desperate measures

Day after day that endless thirst continues

Closer and closer does the temptation draw

Will I fall prey to that cold desperation

The daily struggle of this chemical condition

Please don't let me take a life away

For I am not an animal!

Someone please! Take this thirst away.

I feel it taking over!

Cold red clouds my vision

Black shadows drown my heart

Reaching for my instrument of murder

Toxins

In my blood

Euphoria

Murder of the lowest persuasion

Death for dollars, a waste

An endless taint chokes the scarce clean blood
