It starts with us

Two souls entwined by fate so binding

A love that far proceeds of any tale of hope so true

That day you stood before me

My eyes were glazed with disbelief.

With beauty, oh so blinding

I prayed you’d find something in me

Now I drift alone

Wondering lifeless to a plane of sorrow

Questioning the truth

The solitude consumes all that it touches and buries me out of reach

Falling back into my memories I seem to hear

The sound of screams embedded so deep, they kill me

My love, a curse It boils and bursts through every vein

Bewildered by submission

Tainted, tattered, like blood it stains

Intoxicating I inhale the love I've come to know

But once again my horrid thoughts

Take their grasp round my throat

Banished to a state of hopelessness

Which festers through my soul

I succumb to the horrors that stood before me

They lead me blindly through it all

Anybody out there please, show me where I have gone wrong Exposing fears that drive me further and further away

I bask in your beauty as it tears through my soul and rips in two Barricaded, so frustrated, not knowing the truth
