year after year

The goal stays the same

as life disappears

The reason I’m here

is not to make change

To few I’m a beacon

the rest think I’m strange

Good times to be had

by me and my friends

The system is against us

our will won’t bend

A night out and loud noise

a good way to end

Time is the currency

in which we will spend

Start the engine feel the noise it’s nothing to me now

No time for sorrow, pain or grief to no master I will bow

My life is lived by only me and I was born to die

Comfort in the afterlife is something you can’t buy
