through pain comes clarity

that things will

I close my eyes

I felt the loneliness set in

losing myself under pain

That’s the price I pay for my mistakes

pulling myself together not be done alone

using pieces of a person not fit to function

so i chose to rebuild

to live a better life

full of content

and true happiness

I just had to weather the storm

though my sails have became torn

pulled apart

by fake happiness

you were the light

leading me

to run ground

now I see the way out

true happiness

is not found

in those with

worst intentions

They’ll rip you up

Leave you bleeding broken from the core

so I chose to rebuild

to live a better life

full of content

and true happiness

and what I was missing

I found happiness

in the darkest of times

and now I see the light

given strength by those that care

We’re in this together

we can get better

because we're not dead yet

wash the lies from my eyes

and realise that

this is not the end
