She floats, toes grazing the blades of grass.

Her pale skin catches the moonlight and I’m entranced.

I’ve never seen something, so beautiful.

And then her siren’s call pierces my skull.

*Daggers

Piercing every corner of my soul.

As she devours me whole.

Daggers

Tearing through my heart and my mind.

Lost in the abyss of time.

With eyes as black as void, her gaze dissects.

Lulling me in for the kill, to be ravaged next.

My body goes limp with fear, I cannot fight.

I feel as if I’m drowning, sinking away from the light.

**This is my destiny.

To be a feast for death.

I cannot help but willingly give my last breath.

This is dark poetry.

A somber tale to tell.

Now I enter through the maw, my descent into hell.

The deeper that she drags me down, the more I see.

An endless ocean of pain and fear, awaiting me.

A million voices call to me.

Welcome to eternity.

Now I reach my final resting place, my spirit’s tomb.

Swaddled within Death’s very womb.
