Expressing an opinion can now cost you dear

You're a left or right aggressor, your thoughts cavalier

A tweet or Facebook comment can be taken out of turn

Will political correctness reach a point of no return

In a world where people suffer with the natural world in flames

As one world bakes in drought and another, constant rains

As officials baulk and dither, refusing to back down

Blaming all but themselves is the only game in town

Can you just sit there in silence and let others lead the way?

It's just not in your nature, you need to have your say.

But saying how it is can put you on the fringe

With a cotton wooled populace getting un-hinged!!

Trial by social media for saying I don't agree

With a narcissistic imbecile who reigned across the sea

But that's the way it goes these days, no room for common sense

'cause you never know what asshole, is going to take offence

In a two sided world, of haves and have nots

Where some of those with plenty, strive to take the lot

Bloated western waistlines and never ending greed

Social degradation, failure guaranteed!!
