I wander, over misty hills Through fog of a night so cold I wander, into taunting woodland Through the great gates of oak I wander, past ruins of yore The star's in the night sky, shine so bright Gleaming down upon the forest floor There is no end in sight I see a distant glow In the dead of night Behind the ancient ruins and grand oaks in their might I hear the screeching Of the woodland spirits Bound eternally To this weald so cursed Their piercing howls Echo through this land So cold, so scared I can only wait helplessly Until Dawn I see the morning sun Through the trees The rays of warmth Cast over me A new energy Infuses this weald For a new chapter is to begin
