Story:
After his meeting with the General, Lacey has been hired to infiltrate the planet of Ental... An oppressed world whose mountains and valleys are rich with Winterstone; the most coveted fuel source in the known universe. The General wants it all for himself and his enourmous armada, and it is up to Lacey and his mercenary band to gain the trust of the local rebel army. Firmly under the thumb of the fuel corporations, the entire population has been put to work in the mines and factories, but some have decided to fight back. Not wanting to wage all-out war and risk destroying the precious planet, the General is hoping Lacey can crush the rebels from within, and leave the planet defenseless against any military invasion. Unfortunately for Lacey, his sense of moral responsilibily begins to clash with his job requirements, and when the General finally comes to claim the planet he does not find a crushed and hopeless society, but a well organzied military force led by the man he hired to destroy them
Demand, consume, repeat the cyclical flow
Man, stolen in the night
Ripped right from the arms of his child
Drain the workforce
Torn, forced into the dark
Working for his heart, cold and blind
More than they can bear
Pushed unto the edge of life
And then further
Pushed unto the edge of life
Expire, replace
Overhead the sun it shines no more
Skies opaque with winter's squall eternal
CHORUS:
With faces cast in stone, emerge into the light
We'll never return home, with ashes in our skies
Crushed, kicked, tortured
Quick and painless death you will not find
Slowly, surely, purged clean
Growing ancient, lost within the mine
This is our home
Imprisoned and alone, drowning in the night
We are daughters of the stone, wandering in time
CHORUS
Chained to the factory floor, smoke fills our lungs and our world
There is no escaping this well
Cold to the touch yet it burns, fuelling our whole universe
Living hell
CHORUS x 3
