Modest servants posted

On a land of sorrows

Between sky and ocean

Dreaming alone in the night

As only friends

The howling of birds

The rest of the wrecks on reefs

Where the lost clutch their coffins

Scanning the horizon

With its great rays

Lighting up the seas

In skies of flame

Further than the bay

Gradually into madness

I fall

I cannot leave

I let myself go

The wind howls in my head

The waves rage

On the breakers

My memories retreat

Into the sea
