When the sky turns red and the sun’s to set
Another day turned its back on life again
I’ve never wished that this would happen, but it did in the end
A blackened night to come to change the way I set my view
So much that I’ve left behind on my way into the abyss
I’ll never reach the place I’ve started once before
I hope the waves of sea will erode the stones in my way
To cast the lights of setting sun before they die away
I’ve had to leave, to set the sails
That I’ve never carried before
I have the wish of this to end
For another day of light
Fragile, pale
Is the fiction that we live
Crushing all in the morning hours
The castles that we’ve build
Futile and aching
The hours that we wait
To let the night enclose our sorrow
Of errors that we’ve made
When the raging sea bears a storm
And the crushing waves devour the air you breathe
And the maelstrom drags you to the void..of your inner guilt
So, face the judgement for all the deeds you left undone
So much that I’ve left behind on my way into the abyss
I’ll never reach the place I’ve started once before
I hope the waves of sea will erode the stones in my way
To cast the lights of setting sun before they die away
Fragile, pale
Is the fiction that we live
Crushing all in the morning hours
The castles that we’ve build
Futile and aching
The hours that we wait
To let the night enclose our sorrow
Of errors that we’ve made
Silent, empty
Inside we’ll ever beg
To a god that’s blind and distant
Of shattered lies unsaid
Stony and wilting
A path without return
into the night of endless winter
a life is set to turn
