This is my last will and testament

I will replace what my species has taken from this earth

I will give up myself in the ultimate form of recycling

Intravenous tubes will sustain me so I can bear living witness to my nutrients feeding this dying planet

I will give back what I have taken

Smiling I climb down into the mud pit

Buried alive, dirt fills every orifice

Surrender myself to my new soil tomb

I become food for worms to consume

Soup-like, I can feel myself rotting

Organic matter decaying

Become one with my Earth coffin

The Nitrogen cycle can begin

My death will feed life

Putrid mulch rots

Not much left of me now, I feel no remorse

A fermented stew stirred in with a pitch fork

With this sacrifice, I become a resource

Fertilising the ground with my life force
