Sometimes, I dream.

Sometimes I have a notion of humanity held together not by force or coercion. A collective consciousness, democratic to a painful degree -

based on Mother Nature, built on technology.

We breed community like fuel breeds fire,

but call us Commies and we'll call you a liar.

You've got your science fiction,

yeah you've got the Borg,

but what I'm thinking about needs no queen to be lord.

A utopian anarchism,

working together as an entity,

no need for taxes or violence when everyone is the same as me.

Will it be a thing of the past?

No one oppresses your free will and disconnection is an easy task.

As I say, sometimes I dream.

Sometimes my mind runs wild -

through my brain, it's a feeling I like.

A feeling I'd like to share.

We will never be divided,

we will always be protected.

Everyone is invited, everyone is elected.
