I remember the days when darkness swept my kingdoms
My evil spirit hovered so majestic across the skies
I remember as a sovereign throughout my kingdoms I rode
And how my mere appearance made my subjects tremble
I was the tyrant whose every whim was to be abided
Every man hated me but none dared entice my rage
From my black castle I ruled the lives of mortals
In the ancient days when frost covered my palace
The roads of my kingdom was bordered with bodies
Suspended from gallows for ravens to pick clean
There hung the traitors, conspirators and thiefs
Together with those whom I stringed up for fun
It did not matter if they were guilty or not
As long as their death adorned my kingdom dark
They served their purpose as morbid decorations
In the ancient days when frost covered my palace
Cloaked in black from the shoulders down
I rode through the misty nights
The hooves of my horse was Heard
As a sign of certain death
No smile ever haunted my face
No love ever paid me homage
My face was marked by sadness
And bore the traces of anguish
Of mortals nothing was spared
But hollowed skulls as morbid chalices
I drank the blood of my enemies
While sitting alone upon my throne
I was the almighty tyrant
Hand in hand with darkness
How I yearn for these days
And my kingdom to return
