In the last days of the earth

The angel of death shall walk from door to door

To spill the cup of life from man

And punish him for his wickedness

So it was written

So it shall not be done

I watched the host of angels descend

And I knew these were the last days of earth

But judgement would not be passed

In the form mankind had always been told

Wings clipped with blood in her eyes

Who Went from door to door

Sparing none but those who wore

The curse received from heaven

To make them out this very day

Proved to be a blessing

From the infernal dominions of hell

That now unfolded on earth

A black-hearted demon appeared in the skies

To put out the sun and lay bare the earth

Leaving it to die at a ripe olden age

The slayer came forth to put earth to death

And all the demons screamed
