Malicious intent to journey into southern territory

through viney paths and marshy surroundings

Into the belly of the beast I will venture

to fulfill the quest embedded in my mind

Mysterious is the entrance as i crouch moving branches out of my way

A foul, unbearable stench conquers my sense of smell

echoes of babies crying in horror envelop my ears

welcoming is the red glow embracing my path

I begin the march forward into the deepest abyss

abandoning the light i have left behind

carvings of infernal doom

engravings of ancient texts

cover the walls as i am forced to feel my way through the black

Annoying flies infest my hands

squirming maggots cover my feet

thick, pulsating spiders crawl around hungry for blood

as distant chantings of satanic rites resonates throughout the tunnel

Pebbles fall, followed by stones and boulders

ancient, withered cave walls begin to collapse above me

my blood races as i flee forward into the depths

the maw of fear envenoms my mind, falling into a pool of blood

Lift my head as the collapsing halts to a chamber filled with torches

hooded black robed servants notice my presense

hovering eerily closer as the chants resonate louder

hopeless screaming escapes my mouth

Decrepit hands pull me into the lowest depths of hell

the red glow illuminates vigorously as i am forced to descend

to the city of the ancients, the elders of the earths incinerating subterranean kingdom
