Reaches from above

No knowledge of feelings

No signs of love

Wretched I find myself

Far from all glee

From all glee

How did I end up here

Why’d this happen to me

Shrieks of foul torment

Rising from below

Unlike any sound

That my mind seems to know

Closer and closer

They reach onto me

I recognize no fear

That I presently bestow

Fed with my anguish

They tear me apart

Ripping into me

I gush and bleed

Consuming each limb

Digging into my heart

My bodily vessel

Now home to their seed

Nurturing the parasites that dwell in their bodies

They scavenge for life to bring an end to me

All those who live to encounter them will die embedded within the hive
