Take my last breath before continuing

And then I walk through a thick forest

Look into myself and see emptiness

I stay and listen, get lost in memories

Trees surround me, it’s cold and light goes by

Won’t make it on time, won’t be safe here

Darkness comes back to visit, once again

If I give up on me it’s over

I cling to the bark and branches, trying to walk

Struggling and carry on, close my eyes and I see nothing

Forest surrounds me, will protect me

Till the light hits me
