From war afar he has fought
He returns home alone
A sickness took his beloved ones
While He fought in the name of god
He felt betrayed by his god
wrath in his body flows
a final embrace, his hearts decree,
Trading his dearest, loves poignant plea
No longer will I bow to a God
so unjust and cold deviating from the path once held so tight
He faded away until the other day
greeted by the sun and familiar noise
Death means eternal peace
It’s kept away from me
without prospect of relief
I try to find my peace
While yearning for the end
without salvation for my soul
Unaging he was cast out
this secret frightens all
A tale unfolds of a man unbound,
a lonely soul caught in eternal pight
Since then he wandered through land and time
he saw empires wane,
Saw over the different centuries,
history just repeats.
300 years alive
Found places and friends worldwide
my mortal facade that had thousands of names to hide
Every few years near that my mascarade falls
I have to leave all behind what this episode gained
Death means eternal peace
It’s kept away from me
without prospect of relief
I try to find my peace
While yearning for the end
without salvation for my soul
World wars, Lies and exploitation
Times red thread
Maybe this time the curse can be broken
As i wished often
And i will die
Prayers brought me into this misery
Faith has let me down, who has heard me cry?
You should have let me die
Could you not have ignored me again back then?
Like you ever did, what I sought for myself
haunts me eternally.
Beauty of Mortality
Death is the beauty of mortality.
