Even my shadow is gaunt

These faded cries

Fallen upon deaf ears

Can you infer eternity

From the rising sun?

Does my eye lie to me

As I look upon the dawn?

The tears that fall

Life; my mistake

Dying, the joy of life

Flesh but another passage

A guiding light
