The planet evolves while we spit in its eye

Confusion makes it hungry

Contaminate nature

And fight in our shit

Fouling our rivers

With poison and piss

We all have a conscience

But still we resist

I think that makes us crazy

Our resources dwindle

Humanity grows

Consuming, neglecting, and eating our own

We cremate the land with the bombs that we throw

Annihilate creation

Like cancer we spread

‘Til we're in every cell

Malignant, mutating, and fashioning hell

Killing our host and ourselves just as well

Our victory: extinction

Now we can see how it’s all meant to be

Reject basic truths and we’re sealing our fate

In the Earth’s eyes, our end is a brand new beginning
