Why do we live here

In such pain and suffering

To live in such a life

Bears no will to live

Yet here we are forced

To continue this cycle

Of this vestigial life

With no will of our own

These lands I once travelled

Were once blessed now withered

What life was once prosperous

Is Now left to be disfigured

I know you hear the cries

I know you see the tears

Why should you be this way?

Why deny me comfort?

Who made you lord

To take life into your hands

To draw me away

From my destined death?

Why deny me access

To my very end?

How can you not see

That this isn’t the way?

I will persevere

Rejecting your corrupted ways

searching for my own

Road to destined death

And I shall break your cycle

And start one anew

for this is the only way

to bring forth new life
