giving way to the sky above

allowing our many ancestors

to watch over the land below

the spirits high above us all

souls of many dead warriors

endlessly searching

a way into the afterlife

in the lands of the north

on the fields of the tundra

where only coldness remains

high in the skies above

an opening has shown

presenting itself

as guiding lights

to these very lost souls

appearing above us all

these smudges of light appear

flowing freely in the sky

manifesting itself in a dance

across the darkened sky

may these lights above

guide these resting spirits

to a great place far beyond
